The Le-Mans Winning S.K.-37080 Tunnel Port Head

 

 

Made from the original tooling & fixture. The Original FORD Aluminum Tunnel Port Head used to win Le-Mans in the GT-40's. This part was also used in the CAN AM Competition in the late 60's. Also available in modified form with 3 chamber sizes 88cc,76cc, and 58cc for those builders who wish  to form their own chambers. Also with 3 different exhaust ports.

This unit matches the SK-37080 Head And Was Used around 1970 in CAN AM Competition.

MEDIUM RISER SK-35369 (24 VERSIONS)

 

This head from original tooling was created when N.A.S.C.A.R. Banned The FORD HI-RISER and the CHRYSLER HEMI in 1965. This Head flows better than the C4AE-6090-F HI-RISER. The flow rate s are state of the art even today. This Head is still legal for SUPER STOCK N.H.R.A. DRAG RACING in both IRON and ALUMINUM. We have both.

This model went head to head with the HEMI'S until they were both banned for the 1965 N.A.S.C.A.R. season. However the HI-RISER still had a home in SUPER STOCK DRAG RACING. We offer the original Super Stock legal head, and many other versions with improved ports also in Aluminum.

This one is available as a CAST IRON ORIGINAL. This head was used in N.A.S.C.A.R. long tracks until the BOSS 429 came out. In Drag racing the tunnel port performed well. The t-port was a strong runner in A.R.C.A. racing until the rules changed to small blocks.

This head can be supplied in cast iron or aluminum. This head features the original casting numbers, the small 58cc combustion chambers, choice of 2 hi-flow exhaust ports, choice of 2 hi-flow intake ports. The COAE-D is perfect for small F.E.s such as a 355 C.I.D. circle track engine. We have outrun the Roush headed Clevelands by A 1/2 second as well as the Hutter built S.B.C. by 3/10 a second with our 355 C.I.D. F.E.s on the Sandusky OH. 1/2 mile paved oval in the late model stock car class. With our 30 feature wins the durability speaks for itself.

Hi-Riser

This was our 1st venture into the raised floor Hi-Riser. This port was based on the efforts of one RAY PAQUET of the '64 Fairlane Thunderbolt Fame. RAY is a very successful Super Stock Racer, with many S.S. Records & Wins.

 

In Super Stock the Ports must retain the same volume as stock factory ports. So you can not just make the ports larger to gain performance. This rule makes the head porter to be very creative because you have flow numbers to attain the needed power levels, by keeping the ports small the port velocity is very high. The reason for this is better throttle response and a very broad torque band. This is our most popular Hi-Riser Head. As with all DOVE HEADS it requires no porting, just a good valve job bolt them on & GO FAST!!!
